The Gionee S11 Lite looks like a phone that got stuck in 2017. You get a 5.5-inch display, 4GB of RAM and a 3,000 mAh battery, but as I said, it’s pretty much the same as the Galaxy S10 Lite. S11 Lite features an impressive front camera, with a front that performs well compared to the back, with a 1.8MP sensor and a 2.2MP sensor.

If you want a camera-focused smartphone without breaking the bank, the Gionee S11 Lite is the right choice. It doesn’t offer quad camera equipment, but you still get three sensors and an octa-core processor. If you love the stylish glossy cover, there are also options, such as a black or white version with a matte finish. It looks so attractive, although it’s much cheaper.
The phone has a plastic casing, but the shiny finish on the back and sides make it look great, and it can be easily operated with one hand. The phone sits well in the hand, with the volume buttons and the power buttons that can be reached comfortably with the thumb, the phone is easy to operate with one hand.
Display
The smartphone has a 5.5-inch display with 1080p resolution and a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.The boot loader is locked and there is an 8 megapixel rear camera with dual camera setup and an 18: 9 aspect ratio with f / 2.0 aperture. Overall, the device still manages to deliver decent performance for a mobile beginner, but gives the impression of outdated hardware specifications. Resources – intense games showed no signs of frame drops, and then some, then it is a good device to perform decently.
Camera
Keeping up with the dual camera theme, Gionee S11 lite has 13 MP + 2 MP image sensors on the rear. There’s a 16 MP sensor on the front with no flash. The camera UI is simple, but it’s got a few tricks up its sleeve. It includes time-lapse mode, panorama, business card scanner, text recognition, localization (OCR does not understand regional languages) and pic note. In sufficient light conditions, the pictures are sharp and have the proper exposure. The contrast is fine and the pictures have a strong dynamic range. The HDR output is acceptable in taking low lit areas to maximum light. In low light, the photographs create some noise, but the lighting is decent and helps to capture the moment.
Performance
Gionee S11 lite with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. It does not have gyro sensor but has a digital compass. Gameplay on this mobile is smooth for basic games. Resource intensive games do show signs of frame drop, but then this is an entry-level mobile. After 30 minutes of gaming, the mobile does not overheat. It has dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. Fingerprint sensor at the back is fast and accurate. It has FM radio and no Face unlock. The speakers are loud and clear. Overall, it gives a feeling of outdated hardware specifications, but still manages to give a decent performance for an entry-level mobile.
Battery
The mobile phone has a battery of 3030 mAh. It takes 2.5 hours to charge, with a charger of 2 A. I’m not sure about the ratings on the stock charger, as we didn’t get it in the review unit. For moderate use, the mobile phone lasts one day at a single charge. Approximately 4 hours of screen time is given to mobile users for intensive use.

For its price you get a beautiful smartphone at this size. It looks beautiful, and the elegance is deep in the eyes. The system looks out of date and the smartphone is already working on Android Nougat. I recognize that the Gionee is taking calculated chances, but they must make their full potential available to grab the demand.
Yet if you’re going to buy this smartphone at a cheaper, I would suggest it. You ‘d get a trendy smartphone with a good camera and a lag-free user interface. This was an interesting phone to look at but it is definitely not a phone you would like to get in 2020, It looks outdated in design and it also runs on a lot of inferior hardware. I am sure if you continue searching you would find something amazing that would do more for less in 2020
