In 2007, 15 years ago, If you had told anyone that Steve Job’s Apple company would go on to produce one of the greatest smartphones of all time, you would have been overlooked. Fine, the blueprints had always been there that the iPhone was going to be a successful brand, but no one projected it to be this huge.
It’s 2023, and you can barely walk 20 metres without seeing someone else use the elegant iPhone. Luxurious in its look, and a fantastic gadget to operate, Steve Jobs has put in tremendous work to ensure that the smartphone has surpassed all projections. What an invention.
While the iPhones are distinctively known for their quality camera prowess, lush looks and a luxurious feel, the normal functions of these IOS smartphones are far more than that with advanced and hidden phone qualities that are not known or possibly overlooked by a majority of the masses.

While the iPhone 6 was and is still an extraordinary part of Apple’s Smartphone journey going on to become the best selling smartphone of all time in 2017, toughly 10 years on, and it’s not as relevant as it used to be.
The iPhone 6 series featured a Sleeker design than the iPhone 5 series, had better camera quality, meaning that the picture colours were quite vibrant and diverse, and had a wider display at 4.7 inches, relatively larger than the 5.
The best version of the iPhone 6 however would be the 6S Plus, saving the best of the Last.
Dual variations of the iPhone 7.
No stress, Jobs and his people wanted to make some improvement on the impressive iPhone 6. In June 2017, iPhone 6 had sold a staggering 225 million units, surpassing it’s expectations, and yeah, Apple wanted to double up on it.
2016, and Apple released two new phones of a new 7 version. While the Pst had seen Apple always release at least 3 variations per series, the iPhone 7 was just so different, and changed a whole lot in Apple’s Smartphone game.
The iPhone 7 became the first ever iPhone where the headphone Jack was removed, paving a way for the introduction of Bluetooth and bettering the audio quality of Apple’s subsequent smartphone, Apple also skipped the 64GB ROM option as the iPhone 7 is only available in 32GB and 128GB ROM alongside an impressive 2GB RAM for 7 and 3GB RAM for 7 Plus.
The iPhone 7 consisting of 7 and 7 Plus also became the first ever phone to be water resistant, a feature the iPhone is well known for.
Till today, it’s still a very decent smartphone to use.
iPhone 8 and 8 plus
Just like the series before the iPhone 8 only came in two versions. The iPhone 8 and the 8 plus. The highlight of this new series created in Sept 2017 would be how much improvement was made on the camera compared to the 7 series.
The iPhone 8 series also introduced wireless charging. This ultimately meant that the need for a physical charging cable was eliminated and smartphones could be charged more conveniently. Both versions of iPhone 8 did launch with 64GB and 256GB ROM options, alongside 2GB RAM for 8 and 3GB RAM for 8 plus.
The IPhone 8 also featured a faster and more quality processor than the iPhone 7, and till November, was arguably the best smartphone in the world
The iPhone X
While it was quite customary to have at least a year n between the launch of new iPhone series from the last, Apple decided not to hold back when the pained the iPhone X series just 2 months after the 8 was released, and for the first time in Apple’s whole history, the popular Face identification unlock was introduced.

Apple returned to releasing 3 variations of their Smartphone when the 11 series was launched. However, what was the most interesting part was the new sleek design, Apple had finally released a mobile phone with multiple cameras.
The iPhone 11 literally was the most basic of the variations with a double camera design, two circle camera arranged on top of each other horizontally, and of course a much better improvement in camera quality than the X.
Both iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max were literarily the first ever iPhone variation to have a triple camera feature. The camera encompasses a Wide angle Lens, an Ultra wide angle lens and a Telephoto lens, allowing for a better display of picture quality to capture landscape and group pictures.
Overall, the iPhone 11 series provided a drastic improvement in iPhone’s Journey to their Horizon.

A Step Ahead, iPhone 12 mini, 12, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max
Asides for the production of the flat 12 mini, both iPhone 12 series and 11 were technically twins. Same size, same design, replica of Camera, everything. However, the 12 series still had a couple of advantages over 11.

The most recent iPhone sees the 13 and 14 top Apple’s success over the last decade. Aside from the arrangement of both cameras to appear diagonally in both their respective primary phones (13 and 14), there’s really no significant difference between them and the 11 and 12 series

The 14 on the other hand barely had no significant difference with the 13, However, the Camera quality was definitely improved on, being able to capture more quality pictures. The 14 series also saw the introduction of a stronger and far more effective Processor in the A16 bionic chip.

Waterproof : Are all iPhones waterproof?
No, no iPhone is waterproof instead, some are only water resistant. Waterproof feature means a device is completely resistant to liquid and cannot be destroyed if fully submerged in it, while Water Resistant means the iPhone can withstand liquid influence to an extent.

Definitely! an iPhone can be Flashed. Flashing simply means to completely reset a smartphone and reprogram it to use with a new carrier. This process is extremely complex with IOS phones and could damage warranty agreements.
