In 2007, 15 years ago, If you had told anyone that Steve Job’s Apple company would go on to produce one of the greatest smartphones of all time, you would have been overlooked. Fine, the blueprints had always been there that the iPhone was going to be a successful brand, but no one projected it to be this huge.
It’s 2023, and you can barely walk 20 metres without seeing someone else use the elegant iPhone. Luxurious in its look, and a fantastic gadget to operate, Steve Jobs has put in tremendous work to ensure that the smartphone has surpassed all projections. What an invention.

While the iPhones are distinctively known for their quality camera prowess, lush looks and a luxurious feel, the normal functions of these IOS smartphones are far more than that with advanced and hidden phone qualities that are not known or possibly overlooked by a majority of the masses.
Regardless, this piece uncovers every bit of information for the iPhone, how brilliant it is as a gadget, its hidden features and how well to use them.
Where is iPhone Manufactured?
iPhones are generally made in China. “Foxconn” Apple’s longest partner in building the smartphone currently assembles most of the iPhones in China. While generally, the iPhone is assembled in China, the majority of its parts are being imported from different parts of the world. So technically, not everything in its production is covered by the Asian giants

Various parts of the iPhones are being imported from various parts of the world, Custom Silicon from the United States, the Display in the South. Korea and even Flash Memory gotten from top companies in Japan. Other countries worthy of mention in the manufacture of iPhones are Taiwan and some other parts of Asia as they contribute essentially to its production.
Away from the production, the blueprints and the designs before production are usually done at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, United States by mostly skilled American developers and industrial designers. Tim Cook is the current CEO of Apple.
FROM IPHONE 5 TO 14.
No disrespect to the first iPhone released, the iPhone “3G” series released as early as 2007 and the iPhone 4 series released 4 years later. Both 3.5 inches in size, the first two IOS phones created paved a great way for Apple to continue its Smartphone journey, However, majority of the significance in its evolution started from the iPhone 5.

iPhone 5 Series
Released in Sept 2012, with a 4.0 inch display, the iPhone 5 series can be termed as arguably the starting point for Apple’s mid generation Smartphones. While many of its features might look Crude compared with the newest iPhone versions, at that point, 11 years ago, if you had an iPhone 5, you were definitely wealthy.

The iPhone 5 series came in 3 different variations. The “5”, “5S” and “5C”. While the 5 was the crude version with the least special features, the 5C was notable for its variance in colour, and the 5S being the most advanced of them all.
All equipped with 1GB RAM, All three work on 2G GSM/GPRS and 3G UMTS/EDGE networks, with the majority of social media already outdated on them. Great phone, but definitely not for the present.
iPhone 6, 6S, 6 Plus and 6S Plus

One more variant than the iPhone 5, and a tad better than its predecessor, the iPhone 6 took the world by the scruff of its neck when it was released in 2014. Other variant of the 6 series would be released later in subsequent years, including the 6S in 2016.
While the iPhone 6 was and is still an extraordinary part of Apple’s Smartphone journey going on to become the best selling smartphone of all time in 2017, toughly 10 years on, and it’s not as relevant as it used to be.
The iPhone 6 series featured a Sleeker design than the iPhone 5 series, had better camera quality, meaning that the picture colours were quite vibrant and diverse, and had a wider display at 4.7 inches, relatively larger than the 5.
The best version of the iPhone 6 however would be the 6S Plus, saving the best of the Last.
Dual variations of the iPhone 7.
No stress, Jobs and his people wanted to make some improvement on the impressive iPhone 6. In June 2017, iPhone 6 had sold a staggering 225 million units, surpassing it’s expectations, and yeah, Apple wanted to double up on it.
2016, and Apple released two new phones of a new 7 version. While the Pst had seen Apple always release at least 3 variations per series, the iPhone 7 was just so different, and changed a whole lot in Apple’s Smartphone game.

The iPhone 7 became the first ever iPhone where the headphone Jack was removed, paving a way for the introduction of Bluetooth and bettering the audio quality of Apple’s subsequent smartphone, Apple also skipped the 64GB ROM option as the iPhone 7 is only available in 32GB and 128GB ROM alongside an impressive 2GB RAM for 7 and 3GB RAM for 7 Plus.
The iPhone 7 consisting of 7 and 7 Plus also became the first ever phone to be water resistant, a feature the iPhone is well known for.
Till today, it’s still a very decent smartphone to use.
iPhone 8 and 8 plus
Just like the series before the iPhone 8 only came in two versions. The iPhone 8 and the 8 plus. The highlight of this new series created in Sept 2017 would be how much improvement was made on the camera compared to the 7 series.

The iPhone 8 series also introduced wireless charging. This ultimately meant that the need for a physical charging cable was eliminated and smartphones could be charged more conveniently. Both versions of iPhone 8 did launch with 64GB and 256GB ROM options, alongside 2GB RAM for 8 and 3GB RAM for 8 plus.
The IPhone 8 also featured a faster and more quality processor than the iPhone 7, and till November, was arguably the best smartphone in the world
The iPhone X
While it was quite customary to have at least a year n between the launch of new iPhone series from the last, Apple decided not to hold back when the pained the iPhone X series just 2 months after the 8 was released, and for the first time in Apple’s whole history, the popular Face identification unlock was introduced.
Regardless of the skip in 9, the numerical arrangement of the iPhones didn’t matter anymore, as Steve Jobs had created a masterpiece in X. The iPhone X series also became the first iPhone to be produced without a physical button, having a full screen sleek design.

the iPhone X had a dual-camera system with improved optical zoom capabilities and enhanced portrait mode, something extremely better than all other versions created before it. Available in four versions as seen in X, Xs And XS Max, alongside a later released XR version years later, the iPhon X is arguably the greatest iPhone ever created.
Genesis of Dual and Triple Camera: The iPhone 11
Apple returned to releasing 3 variations of their Smartphone when the 11 series was launched. However, what was the most interesting part was the new sleek design, Apple had finally released a mobile phone with multiple cameras.
The iPhone 11 literally was the most basic of the variations with a double camera design, two circle camera arranged on top of each other horizontally, and of course a much better improvement in camera quality than the X.

Both iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max were literarily the first ever iPhone variation to have a triple camera feature. The camera encompasses a Wide angle Lens, an Ultra wide angle lens and a Telephoto lens, allowing for a better display of picture quality to capture landscape and group pictures.
Overall, the iPhone 11 series provided a drastic improvement in iPhone’s Journey to their Horizon.

A Step Ahead, iPhone 12 mini, 12, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max
Asides for the production of the flat 12 mini, both iPhone 12 series and 11 were technically twins. Same size, same design, replica of Camera, everything. However, the 12 series still had a couple of advantages over 11.

First off, while Apple has always produced great smartphones, the IOS brand had to make quick adjustments to how poor their battery health was, therefore the 12 series would have a stronger battery and better performance.
Apple also improved the processor of the 12 series. While both the 12 and it’s predecessor ram on a 4GB RAM, the A14 bionic chip was introduced on the 12 series, better than the A13 chip on the 11 series. This meant that all 12 variations could perform better and multitask better than its predecessor.
The Newest Generation, iPhone 13 and 14
The most recent iPhone sees the 13 and 14 top Apple’s success over the last decade. Aside from the arrangement of both cameras to appear diagonally in both their respective primary phones (13 and 14), there’s really no significant difference between them and the 11 and 12 series
The iPhone 13 series introduced several incredible features over the iPhone 12 series. It included a ProMotion display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The iPhone 13 Pro models also offered a more powerful A15 Bionic chip better than the A14 on the 12 , and up to512GB ROM alongside a 6GB RAM storage
The 14 on the other hand barely had no significant difference with the 13, However, the Camera quality was definitely improved on, being able to capture more quality pictures. The 14 series also saw the introduction of a stronger and far more effective Processor in the A16 bionic chip.
What IPhone has the best camera?
The iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 pro max also have the best camera quality for an iPhone at the moment with a packed rear camera of 48MP, a 12 MP Ultrawide lens and a 12 MP 3x Telephoto lens.
It also has a brilliant front camera quality of 12MP TrueDepth camera.

Regardless of how good the camera quality of the iPhone 14 variation is, there are still some decent older series you can jump on if you’re looking to cut cost on, with the X series, 12, 11, New generation SE and even as far as iPhone 8 having brilliant camera quality as well as being a far more cheaper alternative.
Apple’s Journey I’m the smartphone game has been nothing short of remarkable, and with the foresight for the release of the 15 series we are yet to know how epic they could go on to be
