How much is iPhone 7 in Nigeria? While the first and second quarter of 2016 had people worship the iPhone 6 which was still 2 years old at that time, Apple had the whole world in turmoil in the later stages of the year when they released the iPhone 7, which would succeed the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus , iPhone 6s, and the iPhone 6s Plus, becoming the Flagship device of the iPhone series.
Despite just releasing two versions, this series completely changed the IOS smartphone game in many ways. While many of the changes might be quite myopic compared to the present, these changes represent a significant part of the iPhone’s story.
With the advent of more recent iPhone series, it would be quite criminal to write off the iPhone 7 despite being introduced 9 years ago. While Apple might have created far better smartphones with better camera quality, processing power and far more effective storage ability over the past few years, we shouldn’t write off the fact that this smartphone was quite luxurious a while ago, and not available for the majority of the masses.

The iPhone 7 series
The advent of the iPhone 7 series could also be termed a key part of Apple’s evolution. The iPhone 7 series consists of the “iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus.
This series which is the smallest of all and with the least specification is the smallest of all series. This phone represents the first smartphone of the 7th generation after the 6 series. This series possesses a 4.7-inch display and comes only in 32GB and 128GB and a RAM of 2GB, side lining out the 64GB option. It also has a 12-megapixel rear camera, and 7-megapixel front camera, far better than the base iPhone 6’s 1.2 megapixel resolution and an 8 megapixel resolution at the back.
The iPhone 7 Plus comes next, which is quite similar to the iPhone 7, however, the Plus differs from it with two major factors; Size and the Camera Setup. While the iPhone 7 possesses a 4.7 inch display, the 7 plus is relatively larger and has a 5.5 inch display, coupled with a double camera system with extra zoom capability. The Plus also betters the iPhone 7 with the Possession of a 3GB RAM which is quite better and faster than the 2 GB RAM found in the iPhone 7

The iPhone 7 series introduced a whole lot in their smartphone game. Many of which we have forgotten. While the iPhone 6 series was a super phone and literarily the rave of the moments in the mid 2000’s to 2010’s, certain problems and new advancements were brought in by the iPhone 7. Water Resistance :
The iPhone 7 series became the first ever Apple Smartphone to be created that was water resistant. Water resistant is an envious trait that other smartphone brand has on Apple, and it is quite stunning to know that the first ever IOS smartphone introduced with water resistant feature was the iPhone 7.
This feature allows the tenth generation phone to be fully immersed for almost 30 minutes in a 1 metre pool of water without any damage occurring on it. Not waterproof (which is a different thing from being water resistant) meaning it can only tolerate water to an extent.
Camera and Processor:
IOS is quite popular with its amazing camera quality, one that was extremely improved on by the iPhone 7 series. The iPhone 7 possesses a far better camera quality than the iPhone 6, alongside the introduction of double camera type in the 7s version
The iPhone 7 series also possesses a brilliant A10 Fusion chip, while the iPhone 6 has the A8 chip. The A10 chip offers better performance and efficiency and is 41% faster than the iPhone 6’s processor.

Removal of headphone Jack :
This feature also marked a distinct period in iPhone’s revolution. The removal of the headphone jack in the iPhone 7 series brought the introduction of Bluetooth, completely changing the audio quality of the IOS smartphone at that period.
This significant change also plummeted the use of wireless connections as seen in head phones, and also wireless adapter to connect headphones, improving sound quality drastically.
Additional Colour Models :
The iPhone 6 series was limited to 3 different colours i.e Gold, Silver and Grey. However, in order to create diversity in their Smartphones, Apple released their their then new iPhones in many colours with both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus available in six colors: Jet Black, Black, Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, and Red.

it’s still quite unclear on why Apple choose to overlook the 64GB storage option while producing the iPhone 7. However, the iPhone 7 series is available in two different storage size as seen in the 32 GB and the 128GB option. if you don’t know how important this is kindly note that the 128GB option can store a ridiculous 72 thousand photos, while the 32GB option can only store a meagre 18 thousand.
